Barça Atlètic 1-1 SD Logroñés: Two points get away
Two points got away towards the end of this 1-1 draw for Barça Atlètic. The development side went ahead through Pau Víctor, and after chances to seal the win, SD Logroñés scored late to prevent a third win in a row.
Control from the off
After a scare requiring keeper Marc Vidal to receive treatment, the blaugranes took control of the game, with Mbacke, Pau Victor and Unai Hernández all going close.
Pau Víctor made no mistake with his second chance of the game, profiting from a Marc Bernal effort to coolly score his twelfth of the season (1-0, min. 14). The blaugranes were dominating, with Aleix Garrido and Unai Hernández showing their skills to create chances.
However, it was Marc Vidal who made two key saves to keep the scoreline unchanged by the break, the home side's drop in intensity allowing the visitors to grab more of a foothold in the game.
Two points get away
Two changes at the break in Noah Darvich and Naim García - making his home debut - with the player on loan from Leganés setting up Pau Víctor to almost complete his brace. The second goal just wouldn't come, though, and the visitors grew in confidence.
Marc Vidal again proved vital, twice preventing Jordi Escobar from levelling the game midway through the second half. However, he wouldn't be denied and the former blaugrana got the goal to draw the game (1-1, min. 87). Despite late blaugrana efforts to score the winner it wasn't to be and the two points got away.
