Three years after the team's last Asia tour, FC Barcelona will return to the continent where they will play against the Thailand national team in Bangkok (Thailand) on August 7, and then on August 10, the Blaugrana will play against a selection the best players of the Malaysian league in Kuala Lumpur
FC Barcelona will tour Asia for the the 2013/14 preseason. This will be Barça's fifth trip to the continent after the Catalans visited in 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2010.
Three years after the last visit, Barça return to Asian territory where they will visit Thailand and Malaysia. Tito Vilanova’s men will play their first preseason friendly on August 7 in Bangkok against the Thailand national team. Days later the team will travel to Kuala Lumpur where they will feature against a selection of the best players in the Malaysian league (August 10).
The two matches in Asia will close out Barça’s preseason, which is set to start in July. The games in Thailand and Malaysia aren’t the only ones on Barça’s preseason schedule, however. The Blaugrana will play a friendly in Poland on July 20, another on July 24 against Bayern Munich, and later, on July 27, against Valerenga in Oslo.
