The Club’s official publication starts a new era in its long history
The Revista Barça began in April of 2015 a new era in its history with the publication of edition number 74, the first with its radical new design. The new magazine has overhauled not just its look but also its editorial structure whilst at the same time maintaining its mission statement of being a publication that attempts to bring the Club’s activities closer to the Club.
The magazine’s redesign has come about thanks to the work of one of the top design companies in the world, Casas y Asociados, with highlights including a change of font, bigger text size for easier legibility and a strong commitment to photography.
New sections have been added such ‘Barça People’, ‘Unseen Barça’, ‘Up close and Personal’ and ‘Let’s look back’ with other being revamped to make them more attractive and enjoyable.
The magazine began life back in November 2002, taking over from the previous title ‘La Veu del Club’ which ran from October 1998 to September 2002. In April 2015 the Revista Barça reached edition number 74 with number 1 having been published back in 2009 with none other than Luis Enrique on the front cover.
