The mission of the Centre for Documentation and Studies is the preservation and diffusion of the documentary heritage of FC Barcelona. To do this, the CDiE-FCB is organised into different areas

The CDiE-FCB has a historic and administrative archive that includes a major graphic archive, a library specialised in sports and essentially FC Barcelona and finally, a newspaper archive that contains the main publications in the Barça field. These three areas serve for the CDiE-FCB to be able to operate as an information and reference centre about the Club and at the same time to provide guidance with any research into the organisation.
