The various tributes and farewell ceremonies for Pep Guardiola started outside the stadium, continued inside the Camp Nou and finished in the players’ changing rooms. It was here, and with his father Valentí looking on, that Barça president Sandro Rosell awarded him the Club’s highest distinction, the Barça gold medal.
Also present at the ceremony were vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu, sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta, assistant coach Tito Vilanova, and the Club’s head of external affairs, Manel Estiarte.
