During halftime of the Barça-Granada match, the jersey that Bakero wore when he paved the way for the Club to win its first European Cup (1991/92) was handed over to the FCB Museum

Sandro Rosell, Bakero, and Jodi Pujol - who was the owner of the jersey - were present during the ceremony

The jersey that Bakero wore when he scored that historic goal against Kaiserslautern that paved the way for Barça to win its first European Cup was installed in the FC Barcelona Museum this Saturday.

The jersey was installed in the FCB Museum during halftime of the Barça-Granada match. President Sandro Rosell, Jose Mari Bakero and his family, and Jordi Pujol - who was in possession of the jersey up until Saturday - were present during the installation ceremony. The ex-Barça captain handed over the strip and it was immediately installed in its display. Bakero recalled the 1991/92 season as “a very difficult year, and that match changed a lot of things.”

The Museum, the last stop from the historic jersey

After that historic match, Barkero gave his shirt to one of the members of the Club’s technical staff, Joan Marín. Marín sent the shirt to Ignasi Pujol, director of Barça B and the team’s youth system. This jersey was gifted to Jordi Pujol, Ignasi’s son. Now the historic orange strip has arrived to its final resting place, the FC Barcelona Museum.
