Xavi starring on #CampNouLive

Xavi Hernandez will be the second player to participate in the #CampNouLive programme- the latest channel the Club has opened to bring the institution even closer to its fans around the world. Xavi will answer questions the fans send in via the Club’s various social network sites and his replies will be published in an exclusive interview at www.fcbarcelona.com. Barça fans from all over the world can send in their questions using the hashtag #CampNouLive on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ . All you need to do is send in your question and be a friend or follower of the Club on one of the social networks.

The Club will choose the best questions for the player, who will answer them in an article we’ll be publishing next week. Fans have until 12.00(CET) ON Thursday 15th November to send in their questions.

As part of its commitment to increasing fans’ participation, the Club launched the #CampNouLive project with a Google+ Hangout with Gerard Piqué. The centre back's video conference became the biggest ever such sporting event in terms of a worldwide audience and was broadcast in three languages – Catalan, Castilian and English.

With #CampNouLive FC Barcelona’s website has consolidated its position as the leading sports club site in the world. The website – which is currently produced in seven languages – was recently declared the best of the clubs competing in this year’s Champions League and the Club’s social networks are recognised as world leaders boasting more than 50 million followers.
