The Mallorcan guard was the 32nd pick for Oklahoma City Thunder and the power forward/centre from Montenegro was drafted 45th by the Blazers
The 2013 NBA Draft took place on Thursday (Friday morning in Europe) at the Barclays Center de Brooklyn (New York), with the usual selection of the best college players, as well as plenty of promising talent from Europe. The number one pick this year was a Canadian, Anthony Bennett, from the University of Nevada, the choice of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Two Barça Regal players came up in the second round of the draft. 19 year old Álex Abrines was a 32nd pick for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the 45th pick was Marko Todorovic for the Portland Trail Blazers. Note that second round picks are not guaranteed a contract and when they decide to go to the NBA they will have to negotiate their rights with the team that picked them.
