Marko Todorovic was born in Podgorica, Montenegro, on April 19, 1992. At the age of just 20 he is already one of the most promising players in world basketball, and brings together all the requirements to become a huge star. The power forward and centre is a product of the Joker School in Podgorica, his home town, and four years ago he signed for DKV Joventut and played in the LEB Plata League with the Badalona based club’s reserves.
Todorovic plied his trade at CB Prat Badalona, where he was named league MVP with an evaluation of 20.38 and an average of 16.6 points and 8.1 rebounds. His debut in the Liga ACB came in 2010/11 when he was still only 18, and since then he has made 14 appearances in the competitions, nine in 2010/11 and five in 2011/12- with an average of 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.
Internationally, Marko Todorovic has appeared at the U16 Division B European Championship, where his country won silver, and also at the U20 equivalent.
Though he is 206 cm tall, the Montenegrin has a speed and agility rarely seen in a player of his size. He is especially nimble on his feet and is especially strong in offensive rebounds.
