Jasikevicius set to play in Wallace's place

Xavi Pascual will be able to use Jasikevicius this Sunday (18.00) against Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket. The Lithuanian was named to the team in CJ Wallace’s place ahead of the away game in Bilbao. With an impressive 119 ACB games already under his belt, Saras will once again don the Barça Regal strip nine years after his last match for the Club, which was away to Pamesa Valencia. On June 24 of 2003, in the third play-off match of the final, the Blaugrana claimed the ACB Liga title (74-82) and Jasikevicius was named MVP of the final series. The Lithuanian played 21 minutes, scored 15 points and racked up an overall evaluation score of 18.

It was his second ACB Liga title, after he was part of the 2000/01 championship winning team, and one of the highlights of a historic season where Barça Regal won the treble, which included the first ever Euroleague title in the history of the Club, in addition to the ACB Liga and the Copa del Rey. The charismatic Lithuanian will once again defend the Blaugrana colours.
