Agreement to renew Lorbek’s contract

FC Barcelona and Erazem Lorbek have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract by three seasons until June 30, 2015.

Eleven titles in three years

Erazem Lorbek came to Barça Regal in the summer of 2009 from CSKA Moscow, and has gone on to play a fundamental role in the successes of the side coached by Xavi Pascual, winning eleven titles: two ACB Leagues, two Copas del Rey, one Euroleague, three ACB Supercups and three Catalan leagues.

The Slovenian is a great all-round power forward, who is especially powerful with his back to the basket and who has a terrific 3-point throw. Last season, he averaged 12 points, 4 rebounds and 11 ACB evaluation points. He was included in the Euroleague All Star Team as well as that of the Regular Season, and was MVP in the final against Real Madrid.
